Police: Woman who crashed into semi-truck on I-75 might have been on cellphone

DETROIT – A 67-year-old woman who crashed into the back of a semi-truck on Interstate 75 in Detroit on Thursday evening might have been distracted by her cellphone, Michigan State Police said.

Police said the semi-truck was stopped in the right northbound lane near Clark Street waiting to get onto the Ambassador Bridge when the woman's Chevy Impala hit its tailer, becoming wedged underneath it.
