Lance Armstrong visits Kalamazoo to honor cyclist victims

Famed cyclists helps group finish the ride that killed 5 people

KALAMAZOO, MI – One-time world cycling champion Lance Armstrong was in Kalamazoo to help honor the cyclists killed last week in a tragic traffic crash. Five cyclists were killed -- and four others injured -- when they were struck from behind by a pick-up. The driver of that truck faces second-degree murder charges. Armstrong joined with families of those cyclists -- and other members of their cycling club -- to complete the ride the victims started. He also met with victims still recovering in the hospital, as well as family members who lost loved ones in the tragic accident.
