FBI searches for gunman in CVS robbery


DETROIT – The FBI is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a man who robbed a CVS Pharmacy in Detroit on Saturday.

The robbery happened at the CVS Pharmacy on E. Jefferson Avenue at about 1 p.m.

A man had gained access to the employee-only office in the pharmacy and waited for an employee to enter. The 38-year-old manager went into the store office and saw the suspect, who pointed a gun at her, and told her to open the safe. The manager complied and the gunman took an unknown amount of cash.

The man is described as black with a light complexion in his 20s. He was wearing a black Ecko jacket, white cargo shorts, a black knit cap and black sunglasses. He should be considered armed and dangerous.
