Shooting at Valero gas station leaves man in critical condition

2 men shot at gas station on Detroit's west side

DETROIT – The Detroit Police Department confirmed two men were shot at a Valero gas station on the city's west side.

A call came in around 12:20 p.m. about a shooting at a gas station in the 20900 block of Joy Road, police said.

A red minivan approached the victims who were sitting in a silver minivan when shots were fired.

The 31-year-old man was taken to a hospital, where he was listed in critical condition. The condition for the second victim was unknown, but police said he is 26-years-old.
