DETROIT – Longtime Detroit radio journalist Rod Hansen has died.
WJR reported his passing Monday.

Hansen started at WJR in 1967 and collected several local and national awards for his journalism.
Most recently, he was the press officer for the United States District Court in Detroit.
He is survived by his wife, four children and five grandchildren.
