Tennis star could postpone wedding due to Wimbledon win

Dominika Cibulkova could postpone her wedding due to an unexpected Wimbledon final appearance.

Cibulkova is due to marry fiancé Miso Navara in her hometown of Bratislava on Saturday.

That could be put on hold after the Slovakian advanced to the Wimbledon quarter-finals with a 6-3, 5-7, 9-7 win over world number three Agnieszka Radwanska on Monday.

The 27-year-old planned the wedding nine months ago, but she didn’t see herself moving to the July 9th women's final.

Cibulkova has now decided the wedding should wait if she defeats Russian world number 50 Elena Vesnina in the quarter-finals on Tuesday.

"If I win on Tuesday, then we will change it. We will postpone it because it will be a lot of rush," Cibulkova said
