BLOOMFIELD TOWNSHIP, Mich. – A 37-year-old Garden City man was killed Monday when his motorcycle collided with a car near Hickory Grove and Chickering Lane in Bloomfield Township, police said.
The man was riding a 2003 Suzuki motorcycle westbound on Hickory Grove at 3:29 p.m. when police say the motorcycle collided with a 2013 Ford Fiesta crossing Hickory Grove from Chickering Lane.

The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene.
The 25-year-old driver of the Ford was taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Alcohol does not appear to be a factor in the crash, police said. The motorcyclist was wearing a helmet.
