Shooting sends 3 to hospital on Detroit's east side


DETROIT – Police are investigating after three men showed up to a local hospital Sunday evening with gunshot wounds.

Two of the victims are 25 years old. The third victim is 24 years old. They showed up at St. John Hospital and told police they were shot on the 20000 block of Bloom Street, north of East Outer Drive.

According to police, the victims were standing outside of a home when a dark-colored Chevy Impala pulled up and two men got out opening fire at about 9:45 p.m.

At least 27 shell casings from multiple guns were found at the scene. Police believe an AK-47, 9-mm and a .40 caliber weapons were fired.

Police are searching for a dark-colored Chevy Impala that fled northbound on Bloom Street.

The victims are listed in stable condition.
