Man sought in connection with fatal Detroit shooting

DETROIT – Police are asking for the public's help finding a man in connection with the Aug. 3 homicide of a 19-year-old man in Detroit.

The 19-year-old man and two other men, ages 16 and 21, were injured in a shooting at the Greenfield Market at 6:41 p.m. Aug. 3. Police said a group of unknown men followed the victims across Puritan in three or four cars to the Forrer Park at the corner of Verne Avenue and Forrer Street.

Police said shots were fired and all three victims were hit. The 19-year-old was fatally wounded and the other men were treated for non-fatal injuries.
