Heavy rains brought a difficult commute Tuesday morning across southeast Michigan.

Northbound and southbound I-75 was closed at M-10 due to water over the roadway. 

Westbound I-94 was closed at 9 Mile Road and has since reopened. All westbound lanes are now reopened.

Northbound M-39 was closed due to flooding at Michigan Avenue. 

Northbound M-10 was closed at Jefferson Avenue due to flooding. All northbound lanes are closed.

Southbound M-10 was closed at I-75. All southbound lanes are closed.

Earlier this morning,  a FedEx truck and a passenger car were involved in a crash in the southbound lanes of I-75 near Schaefer Highway. The road was closed overnight but has reopened.

The second wreck reportedly involves two semis that rolled over in the northbound lanes of I-75 near Dearborn Street. All northbound lanes of I-75 are reportedly blocked.

No injuries were reported.

State officials on Monday urged residents in the Lower Peninsula to prepare for possible flooding from heavy rains. According to forecasters, Lansing, Grand Rapids, Detroit, Ann Arbor, Kalamazoo, Jackson and Battle Creek were expected to get the most rain.
