ROSEVILLE, Mich. – A pedestrian was hit Friday morning closing the northbound lanes of Gratiot Avenue in Roseville.
The crash happened at about 5 a.m. at the intersection of Gratiot Avenue and Masonic Boulevard.
The northbound lanes of Gratiot Avenue are closed just south of Masonic. Traffic is being diverted around the area.
The man was taken to the hospital and is in critical condition. He has not been identified. Police described him as a white man in his 20s, who was wearing a white shirt and dark pants.
The public is asked to avoid the area.
