SHELBY TOWNSHIP, Mich. – A mother crashed into an unmarked police cruiser Friday morning in Shelby Township after she suffered a medical condition behind the wheel with her two children in the vehicle.
The woman was driving with her children, ages 9 and 5, when she crashed into the back of an unmarked police car, sending the cruiser into the side of the Shelby Township Police Department.

The woman was taken to the hospital and the children were not injured.
