DTE Energy said about 12,000 of its customers in Macomb County are without power due to outages at two substations.
The utility company said customers served by the New Baltimore and Chesterfield Township substations are without power.

DTE expects to have power restored to about 50 percent of the customers by 1:30 p.m. Tuesday. They are still "looking at their options" for the other half.
