Sen. Tim Kaine speaks at campaign event in Detroit

DETROIT – Democratic vice presidential candidate Sen. Tim Kaine was in Detroit on Tuesday for a campaign event.

The event began at 2:30 p.m. at the Focus: HOPE location on Oakman Boulevard.

Kaine attended the event with his wife, the Honorabel Anne Holton, and delivered a speech on the economy and discussed the high stakes of this election for Michiganders as well as Hillary Clinton’s vision for an America that is stronger together.

Republican vice presidential candidate Gov. Mike Pence was in Shelby Township on Monday speaking at the Lincoln Dinner fundraiser.
