"A Woman's Place Is In The Home"

Couple leaves waitress a controversial 'tip'

A waitress in South Carolina received a "tip" she refused to accept.

It was a note from two customers. It was written on a napkin telling her "a woman's place is in the home."

The waitress has not release her identity, but her friends posted the note on Facebook.

She said the note was left by a couple who seemed very polite while at her table. In fact, she initially thought the note was a tip.

According to the Facebook post, the note read, in part, "You may think you're contributing to your household by coming into work, but you're not. While you're in here 'working' this is the reason your husband must see another woman on his way home for a long day at his work."
