More southwesterly wind will push temps to low, mid 60s in afternoon

DETROITSaturday night will be chilly and clear. Astronomy buffs can check out the Orionid meteor shower from rooftops, open fields and planetariums. Overnight lows will be in the low 40s.

Sunday will have more sunshine, and it will be milder. A more southwesterly wind will push temps to the low and mid 60s in the afternoon. Perfect weather outside Ford Field when the Detroit Lions battle Washington. Kickoff is slated for 1pm ET. It will be a great day for families going through corn mazes and haunted houses.

Monday will be partly sunny and cooler. Grab your jackets, again, as afternoon temps reach only the low and mid 50s. Tuesday will be a carbon copy of Monday; partly sunny and cool to chilly with highs in the mid 50s. Rain showers arrive Wednesday and last through, at least, Thursday. Daytime temps will be in the upper 50s each day.
