Woman pulls baseball bat, gets run over in Pontiac road rage incident

PONTIAC, Mich. – Detectives from the Oakland County Sheriff's Department are investigating a road rage incident that left a woman in critical condition Friday morning.

Sources say two woman from Pontiac were involved in a road rage incident on Telegraph Road near Elizabeth Lake Road on Thursday afternoon. They both pulled into a shopping plaza where a 52-year-old woman pulled a baseball bat out on the woman she was arguing with.

The 44-year-old woman in the other car allegedly ran the 52-year-old over and fled.

The victim was taken to the hospital and is listed in critical condition.

Sheriff's Deputies arrested the 44-year-old woman from Pontiac a short time later.  She is currently at the Oakland County Jail pending charges.
