Watching football in church

The Best of Both Worlds For Fans and the Faithful

A church in Dallas, Texas came up with a way to keep football fans from skipping out on service: Show the game during service.

Kickoff to the game Sunday against the Ravens was noon (central time), so a member of the clergy at Friendship-West Baptist Church thought that instead of people sneaking peeks at their phones, why not just put the game on the big screen behind the pulpit. Dallas won the game against the Ravens 27-17.
