Big improvements come to 2 Detroit schools

Big changes are coming to two Detroit schools thanks to a generous couple who have spent years giving back to Detroiters.

Danialle Karmanos and her husband, Pete, spent years working within their community by establishing programs for children.

The programs started by the Karamanoses helps introduce children to yoga, health, fitness and nutrition.

When the Karamanoses heard that Thurgood Marshall Elementary and Middle School were in serious need of such a program, they didn’t hesitate to jump in and start.

Local 4’s Hank Winchester shows us the work that is being put forward, and the reactions of the children who now have access to beneficial programs that they didn’t have before.
