CHESTERFIELD TOWNSHIP, Mich. – Three men died over the weekend as Chesterfield Township police reported five separate suspected drug overdoses.
Police said five men ranging in age from 23 to 56 were suspected of overdosing on drugs in separate incidents between Friday and Sunday. Three of the incidents were fatal.
In two of the instances, the men were revived at the scenes by medics.
Police need lab analysis and toxicology reports to determine the causes of death, but they said they confiscated powder and narcotic paraphernalia associated with the use of heroin.
