DETROIT – Detroit police said they found a 3-year-old girl Thursday on the city's east side.
The child was found near Hoover Street and E. State Fair Avenue.
The girl's father picked her around 5:15 p.m. at the Ninth Precinct.
The girl's father said he arrived home from work and asked the child's mother where she was. The mother and others at the home said they didn't know where she was, so he called police.
When police told him the girl was at the police station, he drove there to pick her up.
Police are interviewing the father now.
