Police search for man after shooting on Detroit's west side


DETROIT – Detroit police are seeking the public’s assistance in locating a man who is wanted in connection with a non-fatal shooting that took place Friday afternoon on the city’s west side.

Police said 38-year-old Marcus Barhan was arguing with another man when the argument took a turn and Barhan produced a gun and shot the other man.

The incident happened in the 16000 block of Cruse, police said.

Police said the 67-year-old victim was taken to the hospital and was treated for a non-life-threatening injury.
