CVS Pharmacy robbed at gunpoint on Detroit's west side

DETROIT – Police are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying two men wanted in connection with the robbery of a CVS Pharmacy on Detroit’s west side.

The robbery happened Feb. 8 at about 5 a.m. at the pharmacy in the 10000 block of West McNichols Road.

Police said the 50-year-old manager was outside cleaning, when he was forced at gunpoint to enter the store. Once inside, the gunman disarmed the security guard and forced several employees into a back office.

The gunman forced the manager to open the safe and stole its contents, according to police.

The gunman stole an undisclosed amount of money from the registers and fled in a vehicle waiting nearby.

The gunman was described as black, 5 feet 8 inches tall, weighs 160 to 180 pounds and was wearing a mask.
The driver was described as black and was driving an unknown vehicle in the parking lot.
