K-9 units search for driver after police pursuit ends in crash in Roseville

WARREN, Mich. – A police situation unfolded Tuesday morning after a police pursuit ended in a crash in Roseville.

The crash occurred at 11 Mile Road and Gratiot Avenue and involved a Ford Fusion and a Chrysler. The Ford Fusion was fleeing from Warren police.

Details are unclear, but K-9 units searched the area for the driver.

“The Warren Police Department got involved in a pursuit that culminated at here at 11 Mile and Gratiot and the person we’re pursuing bailed out on foot and he is currently out and about somewhere in the local neighborhood,” said Chief James Berlin. “We have officers searching for him at this time.”

Warren police are on the scene.

Police said the driver was described as a black man with short dreadlocks and was wearing a tan coat.

Huron Park Elementary School is on lockdown.
