Reward offered for information about Romulus hit-and-run

ROMULUS, Mich. – Crime Stoppers is offering a reward for information about a hit-and-run in Romulus on Feb. 10.

Jeffrey Allen Compau Jr. was walking south on the west shoulder of Middlebelt Road south of Eureka when he was struck by a tan Buick Rendezvous at 7:04 p.m. The driver of the vehicle fled the scene. Compau, 43, is in critical condition.

The front passenger side mirror of the vehicle is missing and the front passenger side headlight would be damaged.
