Missing police dog found safe in Saginaw after 13 hours

SAGINAW, Mich. – A police dog that was reported missing in Saginaw can now get back on the job after he was found safe.

Deebo, a German shepherd, works with the Saginaw Police Department, but he vanished Monday night while on vacation with his handler near Chippewa Lake.

Saginaw police officers were called to search for Deebo, who was found Tuesday morning walking along a road near the lake.

Deebo was missing for 13 hours before being found.

Police said Deebo didn't have any injuries when he was found.

The German shepherd has been reunited with his handler and will be back on the job Wednesday, police said.
