DETROIT – A father of five was fatally gunned down in the driveway of a home on Runyon Street on Detroit's east side, police said.
Family members identified the victim as Emmitt Conner, and said the beloved father died at the hospital after he was found with gunshot wounds.
Witnesses said they heard about four shots before discovering Conner.
A SWAT team stormed the house where the victim lived. They rushed inside searching for reasons why the father was gunned down outside his house.
Police are still investigating.
