DETROIT – A 74-year-old woman is in serious condition after she was shot Thursday by an armed man who knocked on her door and fired bullets into the home, police said.
Police said the man fired shots into the home through the front door and one of the windows.
The woman was struck in the hip while in her front bedroom, police said. She was taken to a nearby hospital in serious condition.
The shooting happened in the 10700 block of Beaconsfield Street.
