NOVI, Mich. – The boil water advisory in Novi was canceled Monday after it went into effect Thursday due to a water main break.
The boil water advisory was issued for the area bordered by Haggerty Road, Cambridge Drive, Orchard Hill Place and 8 Mile Road.
Residents had been instructed not to use water from their taps for drinking or cooking unless it was boiled for five minutes. Total coliform bacteria analysis testing began Thursday. The notice was canceled when results were found to be in compliance with EPA drinking water standards.
