Watch: Thieves break into Nino's supermarket in Detroit

DETROIT – The Detroit Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying two men who were captured on surveillance video breaking into Nino’s Market in the 15900 block of Warren.

Police said the break-in happened at approximately 6 a.m. Thursday.

In video footage captured by a security camera in the store, two men can be seen breaking in and using a crowbar to open a door inside the store. 

Police said the two men knocked over a cash register and a lottery machine and stole several items, including money, liquor and cigarettes.

The two men then fled the area.
