BLOOMFIELD TOWNSHIP, Mich. – A Florida man was arrested Monday after police said he threatened his Bloomfield Township family members with a knife during an argument over generator use.

David Drouillard was staying with family members in the 6000 block of Indianwood Trail during the massive power outage caused by last week's wind storm.

Police said there was an argument over the use of generator power, and Drouillard threatened to stab family members and police officers.

Police were called to the home and Drouillard was arrested and charged with domestic assault.

Drouillard is being held in the Oakland County Jail on $50,000 bail. He is expected to return to court April 5.
