DEKALB COUNTY, AL – A mother and her young daughter were killed in separate vehicle accidents Tuesday afternoon in Alabama.
WAFF reports the 39-year-old mother collided with another vehicle on an Alabama freeway and was pronounced dead at the scene, at about 3 p.m Tuesday afternoon.
Her 8-year-old daughter was hit by a car while out in the street about 30 minutes later. WAFF reports that it's unclear why the girl was in the street.
Both incidents happened on Alabama 117. The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency is investigating.
