Canton police officer hospitalized after rollover crash

Officer's injuries not considered life-threatening


CANTON, Mich. – A Canton police officer was taken to the hospital Wednesday after a rollover crash on Geddes Road east of Beck Road.

Police said the officer was responding to a crime when the two-car crash happened.

The officer was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment. The officer's injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.

Michigan State Police troopers are handling the investigation.

The driver of the other vehicle involved in the crash was not injured, police said.
