STERLING HEIGHTS, Mich. – Two people were injured Friday in a fire at the Plumcreek Condominium Units in Sterling Heights, fire officials said.
Firefighters responded to the condominiums at 14231 Ivanhoe Drive and found the blaze fully consuming one unit and spreading to others.

Firefighters evacuated all residents along with several dogs and cats. One elderly man was carried out of his unit, but the rest of the residents left safely on their own.
Two people are being treated for injuries in the fire.
Sterling Heights fire Chief Chris Martin said at least six units will need to remain unoccupied after the fire.
Fire officials are still investigating the cause of the incident.
