Pittsfield Township man charged with three counts of child porn

PITTSFIELD TOWNSHIP, Mich. – A Pittsfield Township man has been charged with possession of child pornography after police say his cellphone was found with over a 100 images of young children in sexually suggestive poses.

Authorities say Terry Scott Leclerc also possessed images of himself and children under the age of twelve in sexually suggestive poses.

Leclerc has been indicted on three separate counts, as authorities say he not only traded and received images of child pornography, but also produced illegal materials from his house on Golfiside road in Pittsfield Township.

Court documents obtained by Local 4 reveal that back in January, someone reported Leclerc to the Ann Arbor police, claiming he forced a mentally impaired person to perform a sex act.

Authorities said they found images on Leclerc’s cellphone that showed minors in sexual positions. Investigators determined that the photos were taken in Leclerc’s basement.

Leclerc has been charged with production of child pornography, receipt of child pornography and posession of child pornography. He now faces life in prison.
