DETROIT – The Detroit Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in locating an 11-year-old girl who was last seen Friday afternoon in the area of Woodward Avenue and Pingree Street,
Police said Winter Smith was last seen leaving her home after being disciplined. She left wearing a purple North Face jacket with yellow accents, burgundy pants and black Nike shoes.

She is described as five feet, four inches and weighs approximately 110- 120 pounds. She has a dark complexion and long hair which has been styled into a ponytail.
Anyone with information on Winter’s whereabouts is asked to call Detroit Police at 313-596-1616.
