DETROIT – A 41-year-old man was shot and killed Saturday on Detroit’s west side, police said.
Around 12:47 p.m., police responded to a report of shots fired in the 15400 block of Lesure Street.
According to police, the man suffered gunshot wounds to his neck and chest and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The person who reported the shooting told police he saw two men leaving on foot after hearing gunshots.
The caller told police he saw a silver Ford Explorer traveling south on Lesure Street before stopping. The victim was found in the driver’s seat of the vehicle.
The shooters are described as black males. One had a rifle while the other had a handgun, police said.
