DETROIT – The hockey season may be over for the Detroit Red Wings but there is still time for you to take part in the "Farewell Season" at the Joe.
The Red Wings have announced the first-ever public "Paint The Ice" event that is scheduled to take place on Wednesday May 10th from 3pm-8pm at Joe Louis Arena.

For a small donation of $20 for adults and $10 for those under age 11, you can register to paint a personal message on a section of the ice. The Red Wings have said they will provide the paint and paintbrushes.
Each 30-minute time slot is only limited to 150 participants and specific painting locations cannot be guaranteed.
