Friends killed in I-75 crash in Detroit; state police investigate possible road rage

Shelby Seyburn was with her boyfriend and friends when she was killed in a crash on I-75 in Detroit.

The 22-year-old Walled Lake woman and her friends were planning a fun day in Detroit when their 2013 Jeep Grand Cherokee was involved in a crash.

17-year-old killed in double shooting over Air Jordans on Detroit's west side

A 17-year-old boy shot and killed Tuesday afternoon on Detroit's west side has been identified as a former Grosse Pointe North High School student. 

On Friday, a 20-year-old Detroit man was charged in the deadly shooting. Dante Tyrell Ford is charged in two separate incidents in which he met up with teenage boys to buy Air Jordan shoes and pulled out a handgun.

Michigan State football players raped woman in bathroom during party, police report says

University police Det. Chad Davis described the disturbing details to a judge Tuesday morning as Josh King, Donnie Corley and Demetric Vance were charged with criminal sexual conduct. King faces the most serious charges of first-degree criminal sexual conduct, one count of third-degree criminal sexual conduct and one count of capturing/distributing image of an unclothed person.

4 people run over by pickup truck at Tesla popup event in Detroit

Multiple witnesses told police the truck crossed the line intentionally to hit the victims. Detroit police said alcohol is believed to be a factor, and the 42-year-old driver is in custody. Terrorism is not a factor in the crash, police said Thursday evening.
