BELLEVILLE, Mich. – The body of a missing boater has been recovered in Belleville Lake.
According to police, a call came in around 7:20 p.m. Saturday when a 61-year-old man went under the water near Horizon Park and did not resurface.
After searching the water with sonar equipment, divers recovered the body shortly after 9 p.m.
