DETROIT – Detroit police are searching for a man wanted in connection with the fatal stabbing of a 30-year-old woman in Detroit.
Demetrius Montgomery is accused of stabbing the woman around 11 p.m. on Sunday in the 6400 block of Colfax Avenue.
Police said Montgomery left his red Ford Flex in the area with the body of the 30-year-old woman inside.
Montgomery escaped from the area in a black 2007 GMC Yukon with Michigan license plate DRR6262, police said. He might be en route to Alabama, officials said.
Anyone who sees Montgomery is asked to call 911 immediately. Police said residents should not approach him.
