iPhone celebrating 10 years today

photo

Steve Jobs said Apple would reinvent the phone.

10 years ago today on June 29, 2007,  the tech company made good on that promise.

The iPhone was revealed to the world and more than a billion have been sold since that fateful day.

In it's first year, only 3 million iPhones were sold. But that number grew exponentially a year later as Apple added Apps.

In 2010, another upgrade. An HD video camera and Facetime became standard.

Now, the world waits for what Apple has in store for the next iPhone.

iPhone 8 will be introduced this fall.
