Detroit police seek 'serious missing' 85-year-old woman with dementia

Ollie Sampson missing since Wednesday morning

DETROIT – Detroit police are asking for the public's help finding a missing 85-year-old woman who suffers from dementia.

Police said Ollie Sampson is considered "serious missing" after her daughter woke up at 9 a.m. Wednesday and discovered Sampson was missing from their home in the 8100 block of Northlawn Avenue on Detroit's west side.

Sampson is 5 feet 4 inches tall, weighs 105 pounds and has gray hair and brown eyes. She suffers from dementia.

It's unknown what Sampson was wearing when she disappeared.
