Michigan State University dismisses 3 former football players charged in rape case

Josh King, Donnie Corley, Demetric Vance dismissed from university

EAST LANSING, Mich. – Michigan State University has dismissed three football players who are  accused of raping a woman in a bathroom during a party in January at an apartment on campus. 

Josh King, Donnie Corley and Demetric Vance are charged with criminal sexual conduct in connection to the alleged assault on Jan. 17. King faces the most serious charges of first-degree criminal sexual conduct, one count of third-degree criminal sexual conduct and one count of capturing/distributing image of an unclothed person. Corley and Vance both are charged with one count of third-degree criminal sexual conduct. 

The three football players first were suspended from the team in February. They were dismissed from the football program when charges were announced this past month. Now the university is dismissing them from the school.
