A Canadian man was miraculously unharmed after he was struck by lightning while giving a speech at his daughter's wedding.

A Canadian man was miraculously unharmed after he was struck by lightning while giving a speech at his daughter's wedding.

JP Nadeau, who was hosting his daughter's wedding in his apple orchard July 8, said he was unaware of the storm clouds approaching the wedding.

"I had the microphone and the shock jumped into the sounds system and my hand just lit up and I saw the spark," said Nadeau."They thought I was going to drop dead."

According to the CBC, once everyone realized Nadeau was unhurt, the wedding continued as planned.
