Police investigate Adrian homicide, possible home invasion

ADRIAN, Mich. – Police are investigating a homicide that occurred early Tuesday in Adrian.

According to police, a call was received at 5:30 a.m. about a person who appeared to be dead at a home in the 300 block of Frank Street.

Police said that due to circumstances at the scene, the death of the 48-year-old Adrian resident is being considered a homicide. Police arrested someone in connection with the crime, and they are expected to be arraigned Thursday.

Police believe the homicide happened during a home invasion. No one else was injured, and police said there is no threat to public safety.

The exact motive and circumstances remain under investigation.
