Detroit police seek information about east side carjacking, shooting


DETROIT – Police are seeking information about a shooting and carjacking that occurred July 2 on the city’s east side.

According to police, the man pictured made another man withdraw money at an ATM at a Marathon gas station in the area of Hayes Street and Bringard Drive.

After, the man drove the victim around the corner in the victim’s vehicle, a white GMC Silverado truck, police said. The victim was shot, but was able to escape.
