Metro Detroit Weather: Hot weather comes back midweek

Wednesday will be mostly sunny, hot with highs near 90 degrees

DETROIT – Sunday night will be drier with skies becoming partly cloudy to mostly clear. Overnight lows will be in the low 60s.

Monday will be sunnier and warm with highs in the low 80s.

Hot weather comes back midweek. Tuesday will be sunny with highs in the middle and upper 80s.

Remember to wear sunscreen and sunglasses and keep kids and pets away from empty vehicles. If you're working or playing outdoors, frequent water breaks and replenishing with air conditioning are a must -- even for the most healthy individuals.

Wednesday will be mostly sunny and hot with highs near 90 degrees.

There's a better chance of showers and storms Thursday and Friday. It remains hotter than average with highs near 90 Thursday and in the middle and upper 80s Friday.

Drier weather with highs in the low 80s Saturday.
