DETROIT – One person has been injured after jumping from a second floor window to escape a house fire this morning on Detroit's west side.
The fire started shortly after 3:30 a.m. in the 9100 block of American.

At this time the cause of the fire is not known but arson investigators are on the way to the scene in hopes of determining a cause.
