Thieves target multiple Warren restaurants during early morning break-ins

WARREN, Mich. – Thieves struck three Warren restaurants during break-ins Friday morning.

Security cameras captured the thieves pulling up to Metro Bar and Grill on Ryan Road near 13 Mile Road in a blue Jeep Liberty just before 5 a.m.

Two people used a crowbar and sledgehammer to gain access through a door. They found a safe in an office and took everything that was inside of it.

"It was just a dreadful feeling," Jenny Desrivieres, of Metro Bar and Grill, said.

At Buddy’s Pizza on Van Dyke and 13 Mile, a sledgehammer was used to smash through a front door. The manager said nothing was taken from the restaurant.

The pair also broke into a Ram’s Horn on Hoover Road and took more than $400 in coins.

Sources said the two are wanted for similar break-ins in Downtown Detroit and Flint.
